Electrical Installation:

We carry out electrical installation work to the current edition of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) or ET 101 (ETCI National Wiring Rules) as appropriate. We provide full certification or reports (as appropriate) to the client upon completion of all work.

Inspection & Testing:

At Walsh Electrical Services we carry out initial verification, complete with the issuance of an Electrical Installation Certificate; Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate; Completion Certificate <50kVA; Completion Certificate ≥50kVA, or Declaration of Compliance with ET 101 for Minor Works (as appropriate). We also carry out periodic inspection and testing, complete with the issuance of an Electrical Installation Condition Report or Periodic Inspection Report (as appropriate). Furthermore, we can advise on any necessary remedial work to ensure the safety of your electrical installation. All of our electrical test equipment used to ensure the safety of your installation and appliances are high-end and fully-calibrated products.

ESB Reconnections:

We can facilitate the reconnection of your electricity supply from the Distribution System Operator (DSO), currently ESB Networks Ltd. The Electricity Supply Board will require a Completion Certificate from a Registered Electrical Contractor. Contact us to arrange this.

PAT Testing (Portable Appliancec Testing):

Walsh Electrical Services also provides a Portable Appliance Testing (or PAT Testing) service, complete with certification. We cover portable and fixed appliances, regardless of whether they are 230V single phase, 110V Reduced Low Voltage (RLV) or 400V three-phase or three-phase and neutral. The work is carried out in accordance with the 4th Edition of the Code of Practice for the In-service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment, as published by the IET. We can also carry out repairs to the equipment if required.
